We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible authority, the Word of God, our only rule of faith and practice. Paul states, "All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work" (2 Timothy 3:16-17 NIV). Peter adds, "For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost" (2 Peter 1:21 KJV). Inspired of God or "God-breathed" means the Holy Spirit lifted the understanding of the speakers and writers above human limitations to give the Scriptures divine authority. Thus Paul could write, "Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual" (1 Corinthians 2:12 -13 KJV).

True Hero Under God (THUG) Program

Loving people.

Matthew 22:39

God has given me a vision that everything done in ministry should start with and be motivated by love.

This program is designed to meet individuals where they are, whether they are struggling with an addiction, incarcerated, homeless, unemployed, saved, unsaved, normal, or above normal and financially secure.

Recovery and life skills are taught from a biblical stand point and each member is supported, mentored and loved by mature men in Christ, the Soldiers of Christ.

Men Standing Up

Bringing things back to divine order.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8,

1.To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

There is also a time to stand up and be the man God has called you to be.  Teaching through the trials of manhood from a biblical perspective.

Caring for God's People.

Jeremiah 3:15

Pay Day is always ready to listen, offer advice, pray, lend a helping hand and study the word with those who ask.

Empowering people.

James 1:27

Teaches us that we are responsible for caring for those who are weak, helpless, those without a voice and those who are deemed powerless. If we do not stand in the gap for the marginalized, the desolate, the hurting, the oppressed, the powerless and voiceless, who will
